‘Staging in the forest’ proposal is a multifunctional space that can be mainly used for performances that include; Theatre; Opera; Bands/Instrumental; Rap and Dance. This will be a community-based project that will involve members from WTOW and the residents living in Treherbert who are interested in woodwork, arts and crafts. Due to this involvement, this project allows to bring the town into the forest and the forest into the town. How? The honey-pot site can be made into different modular templates that can be scattered across the whole of Treherbert. These modules can be combined and shaped into different objects that can function in the area of Treherbert (Skateboard ramps, benches, bus stops, etc.) The loss of Treherbert’s theatre and other places of leisure stems from the economic inactivity. By bringing this module on site brings back the liveliness of Treherbert, having third sector groups and communities to enjoy activites/events outdoors
